Head – HSEQ
Incumbent should be 18-22 years of experience and a professional graduate in B.E. , B.Tech. as qualification. Spearheading Safety, ISO, Audits, Health & Environment functions in current organization. Setting site wise KPI’s, Training on HSEQ across sites & verticals including Metals, Oil & Gas, Power, Chemical industries, establish safety standards etc., would form major part of the job profile. Look out for seasoned professionals from Cement, Steel industries. Exposure to Power Industries (Thermal) would be added advantage
Legal and Statutory:
Ensuring the State Safety rules are being followed by the site management as per the Factories act and contractors safety rules.
Ensuring the Periodical statutory inspections and calibrations of lifting tools , tackles and calibration measuring tools
Ensuring all new employees Safety Induction as per the Site’s hazards.
Ensuring First aid training to 100% of the employees
Pre medical and periodical medical examination to the existing employees as per the state rules
ISO certification and Audit:
Coordination with BV- India consultant and sites for implementation new ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 system
Basic ISO system providing system knowledge to site team
Providing Level I, Level-2 and Level-3 documents
Conducting internal audit in sites and closing with records
Complete the NCRs were given by the consultant and record the evidences
Client Safety Scope and Requirements
Study the client safety system and requirements; provide proactive support to BD team for new sites assessment in RFQ stage.
Ensuring the client scope of the work orders, Health, Safety, Environments standards are being followed in site level.
Periodical site visit will be carried for Corporate Safety audit and providing safety training to the employees based on Site hazards, Critical activities
Quess Office and Site support:
Setting H&S objectives and plans (as per ISO system) with their Business Managers and periodically reviewing these plans to ensure their implementation and effectiveness to ensure continuous improvement in H&S management
Collect incident data and generate reports to inform management of H&S performance and trends
Implementing the Safety management system in sites and monitoring the performance.
Improving site safety performance and achieve the client score card system to avoid penalty in the billing
Site Safety officer’s technical knowledge assessed and recommendation given to HR for appointments
Training and Coaching on Quess Corp safety standard and client safety standard to newly appointed safety officers
Accident and Incident Management system
Providing incident / near miss Investigation knowledge to the first line supervisors and safety officers to investigate all incidents and improve the safe environment.
Medium and High Severity incidents are being investigated along with site team and Client Management. Ensuring the implementation of Corrective actions at the site level.
Incident / near misses learning safety alert preparations and communicated to all sites.
PMS system – safety incident / near miss site uploading and monitoring. Ensuring the supports documents are being followed in records and giving guidance to the site team
